I haven’t really seen this question asked here before.
I’m interested in a trainer/class training for:
Pet/manners/CGC training:
Competition training for obedience/rally/agility: and
Working dog training for field/ service/ protection dogs.
I know that there’s a lot of good and bad infornation posted here. I’m just curious as to what people’s thoughts and experiences are in training.
I actually asked this at one point and got tons of great answers (i hope whoever answered mine answers this one as well):

Comes down to the basics:
- How many personal dogs are titled/trained
- How many did you HELP train/title
- How many mentors, how many years under said mentor(s)
- Number of dogs worked with, variety of breeds
- Knowledge of NUMEROUS methods (not just one)
I do NOT look for degrees form any colleges or schools because i have yet to find a school/class that does a good job in training multiple methods on multiple breeds/dogs. They can be good STARTER courses but you learn best from a mentor or several in real life situations.
she is in pain, shaking, and crying.
Okay, listen when a dog does this you need a vet imediately, nomatter what. if you don’t have the money most vets will work out payment arangements. Nomatter where you are there will be a 24 hour pet hospital, so there’s no reason not to take her.
Please, hurry, she may or may not have time.

In this daily dog training video, I am teaching my dog to bounce as he is heeling a long side of me and trying different toys and things to get the best result. I like all exercises to be spirited and the dog using his energy into the behavior.
Off leash control is acquired and maintained on this video by using the ‘Sit Means Sit Collar’ which can be found at http://www.sitmeanssit.com

I have proof that her rabies and other shots are up to date, but my vet charges $45 additional for a "Health Certificate" that she has examined the dog recentlly and the dog is in good health. I would like to avoid the extra expense of the Health Certificate if it is not really necessary. We are driving from Maine into Quebec City by rental car. Thanks
You need a rabies certificate from your veterinarian.
From the Canadian Food Inspection Agency:
"Domestic or pet dogs may enter Canada if accompanied by an original valid rabies vaccination certificate, which is issued by a licensed veterinarian(2), in either English or French and which clearly identifies the dogs and states that they are currently vaccinated against rabies. This certificate should identify the animal as in breed, colour, weight, etc., and indicate the name of the licensed rabies vaccine used (trade name), including serial number and duration of validity (up to three years). Please note that if the duration of validity is not indicated on the certificate, the vaccine will be considered to be valid for one year."

if you want all of those traits look into adopting a mutt from a shelter.
pet shops and breeders don’t normally sell them. so where can I go to get one, without having to import one?
SPCA… you can adopt one from them.
I have an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler and I really need to take her to training. I was wondering if there were any training facilities just for training cattle dogs in or around Indianapolis. I would like to train her to do obedience and hopefully agility, if that helps.
If you’re calling it "blue heeler"…STOP IT!
& stop imagining breed makes any difference.
You sound like a dopey kid.
Contact the local/county kennel club.YES,there’s a BIG one. They’ll point you REAL classes, run by REAL dog-people.
